In September of 2012, I moved my writing home to a new space titled Fostering Love at Home. I'd love for you to join me there!
Well, who can’t use more time in their day? I know I usually have a to do list that I could never finish in one day, and rarely do.
So, here are some practical tips to add extra time to your day:
RISING – Don’t hit the snooze button! Just get up. Put your alarm clock on the opposite side of your bedroom so you have to get up. Also, wake up to upbeat and fun music, if you can. It is a great way to start your day when you wake up to a song you love.
TV – Limit your time watching TV, or eliminate it all together. I use to be addicted to my TV, but now I just watch 3 shows. I just stopped watching TV and started doing other things. Also, when you’re watching TV, use the commercials!!! During the commercials do something, like clean or read or check your e-mail. Don’t waste this time!
INTERNET - My tip for the internet is to give yourself a time limit. Set a timer and when it is done you are done. This is something I want to do for myself, but I need to get a timer. A time saving tip for reading your blogs is using Google Reader. This saves so much time! You just sign in and it shows all the unread posts from all the blogs that you follow. I love this tool!!!
READING – Take a book with you everywhere, carry it in your purse. Then, when you are waiting for something, like a doctors appointment you can get your book out and read. Who says you don’t have time to read?

Great ideas! My DH and I have gotten really bad about the snooze button. I like the idea to put the alarm across the room. We got an ipod docking station for Christmas so we could program it as an alarm and choose the song we wake up too. Thanks for the idea! :)
GOOD TIPS!!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful tips! Some of them I’m already doing and others I need to begin…..like getting up when the alarm clock rings!
So true about the book thing, I carry a book whereever I go and I find more time that would of just been wasted where I can read my book.
Great post girl!
