I was overwhelmed. To say the least! After 2 garage sales, packing like crazy, taking a journey over the state line into Kentucky, setting up home in a new place, starting a job after being a full time homemaker for 2 and a half years… I needed a break to gather my sanity! Life has a way of sneaking up on us! Am I right? Here I was going about my to do list…trying to accomplish everything I needed to do. Failing… I knew something needed to give for me to regather my thoughts. I needed a break! It is important to put first things first! This blog is all about my journey putting God first place in my life and encouraging others to do the same. On my list of priorities, God comes first. My husband comes next. Followed by my home. Then my “ministry” things come after all of that. It is important for me to take care of the first three things first!! Which is why I needed to take the break and focus on my home and hubby. Thanks for understanding!
*By the way, I have also decided that once a week I am going to unplug completely (Blogging, Twitter, Facebook, E-mail, everything on the computer!). Saturday will probably be my unplug day…But, it might vary week to week. Want to join me? Learn more here!
As many of you know…my husband and I moved out of state a week ago. I am working on getting settled and accustomed to our new environment and town. So, I am going to take this week off of blogging. This will allow me to just invest more time in my home and husband after the move. I will be back next Monday (May 31st)! P.S. I will probably still get on twitter.
