Time…

We only get one life. Each moment flies by and it is gone.

How are you going to spend your moments? Spend your time? Spend your life?

I’ve been enjoying this time away.

Time to reflect.

Time to heal.

Time to talk.

Time to pray.

Time.

It has been nice.

I hope that you had a blessed Christmas! And I hope that as you are looking upon a new year that you prayerfully consider what God may have planned for you!

Christmas Reflections

I will not be blogging next week. I will be spending time with family and reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas. I will be resting and aiming towards peace. I pray that your heart will be turned to Christ, the reason we celebrate.

May your family be blessed and may your fellowship be joyful and may your heart be filled with much gladness!

A Wonderful Reminder

Last night I had the honor to attend a middle school winter orchestra and choir concert. I was very pleased with the talent. But, more than that I was struck with heart warmness that served as a gentle reminder for the reason behind the season…JESUS CHRIST.

It came in the form of a song sung by a group of about 45 public school children…

O come, O come, Emmanuel,
And ransom captive Israel,
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear.

Rejoice! Rejoice!
Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel

Rejoice this weekend and take time to think about Jesus, the real reason for the season. And our only hope.

For those kind of days…

for the days when you don’t want to get out of bed…

for the days when you are sick…

for the days when you are hurting…

for the days when you are bickering with your husband…

for the days when you feel like nothing is going right…

for those kind of days…look to Jesus.

It is such a “church” answer.

Right?

But, it is so good. So true.

The only hope we have is in HIM!

The past few weeks…I’ve been struggling. Life has been kind of hard.

(honestly, it’s a little scary just putting it out there).

But, I know that it will get better. I see a glimmer of light. I see HIM. And…I want to see HIM more. Everyday. Every moment. Everywhere.
