So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4 16-18
This verse complete awes me. We are being prepared for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. That is why we have reason to not lose heart.
Cling to Jesus.
Hold firm in your faith.
Keep hope close.

I love the way it says “light” affliction. In God’s eyes and in comparison to the Glory, our afflictions are light. We must keep that in perspective! Thanks for sharing :-)
Yes! That is one of the most important things that I’ve learned, we’ve got to keep the right perspective.
Thanks for stopping by again!
