{Note: I got behind and overwhelmed after being sick. So, I was two days behind. Then I just couldn’t find the words for today’s post. However, here it is. A few days late, but it is still here! This is day 31 of my series 31 Days of Waiting. I did it!}
I had a grand plan for this post. It was going to be the last for the series and in it, I was going to gladly proclaim that my “waiting” had ended! After writing and experiencing waiting for a month publicly here, the Lord had decided to end my waiting.
This thought and idea came straight to my mind a few months ago when I first decided to write about waiting for a month. As the time drew closer though, I realized that I would probably not be done waiting by the time I’m done writing about waiting.
So, here I am. I wanted to end just sharing with you honestly that sometimes you wait much, much longer than you anticipate. Sometimes you think the end is closer than it is.
However, we must continually focus on the Truth. Our plans are not God’s plans. Our timing is not God’s timing. His plans are for our good. His Will is Good and Perfect.
Even though my waiting is not over, I see progress. I see us moving forward. One day I will get to write a post where I proclaim that my waiting has ended. That’s not today. However, I cling to Him and trust His plans and feel very confident that that day is coming soon!
Don’t lose hope. He has great plans for us. We must persevere until the end!
Hold tight! Don’t let go. Keep looking up.
