I have heard great things about Dr. Emerson Eggerichs book Love & Respect. However, I’ve never been able to get my hands on a copy to read.
So, when I learned about this new gift version, Love and Respect for a Lifetime, that is simplified and easy to read, I jumped right on the opportunity to get it in my hands!
This is a very casual book that you can just pick up, read a few pages, and continue later. It also looks beautiful, so it would set nicely on a coffee or end table.
The idea of the whole book comes straight from Ephesians 5:33:
However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Women need love, and men need respect. The back of the book says it wonderfully, “Love and respect. Just two little words. But they have the power to transform any marriage – from chaotic to calm. Or from shaky to steady ground.”
I truly think that this concept is life changing to marriages.
